Chapter 42 Knocking on the Door “Stick out your tongue”
Han Rao’s move was very simple. After the contract procedures were completed, she started packing her belongings. Once packed, she contacted a moving company. She didn’t bother finding a fortune teller to pick an auspicious day, unlike others.
Han Rao originally thought there wasn’t much in the small home she had lived in for three years, but when she packed, she realized how many traces her life in Beicheng had left behind.
And these traces, with this move, will be more or less eliminated through a process of natural selection, such as the 1.5-meter-wide bed she slept on for three years, and the single sofa she used for three years.
Life always requires some give and take.
Han Rao wasn’t one to be sentimental. Adhering to the principle of “keep what should be kept, throw away everything that shouldn’t,” she still packed over a dozen large boxes of belongings, all of which were carried and loaded onto the truck by the movers.
Zhao Jichuan never appeared during Han Rao’s move. She vaguely heard that his company was working on a new project and he had been on business trips and in meetings, so it was understandable that he was busy.
However, she also didn’t want to rely on him.
Moving is just a small matter. Except when packing, she needs to sort and organize everything herself, which takes some effort.
Everything else can be handled with money.
The new house had been thoroughly cleaned by a cleaning lady in advance. The new bed, sofa, robot vacuum, and other items in the house were all newly purchased, but they were paid for with Zhao Jichuan’s card. The moving of items was done by hired workers..
Even when moving to a new home and tidying up old things, Han Ting and Vivi helped, making Han Rao truly seem like a hands-off boss.
It was the weekend, and Han Rao had only been in her new home for a couple of days. Standing before the large French windows, she marveled at how wonderful it was to be rich. This apartment was in an exceptionally good location, a prime area. It was old, but the renovations were good, and she naturally acquired a dance studio.
Han Rao sighed as she looked at the scenery outside the window. It was a shame that she could only rent a house now. She wondered when she would truly be able to own a house in the expensive capital city.
Han Rao stretched lazily, her mind in a daze, lost in thought. Behind her, Han Ting, busy at work, became impatient. He roared at her, “You must pay me today!”
Han Rao looked back to see Han Ting squatting on the ground, looking at her mournfully. He held a small knife in one hand and was cutting open the sealed large box, taking out the contents one by one and placing them on the ground. They were all small, miscellaneous items: some framed photos, some dolls, and a large box of puzzles.
“I’m your brother, not a heartless work machine, okay?” Although Han Ting complained, his hands didn’t stop at all. He took out a foam-sealed box from inside and pulled out a pair of couple’s cups with Kitty cats drawn on them.
Seeing Han Rao’s indifference, Han Ting casually threw the super cute cotton slippers with rabbit ears in his hand at Han Rao’s feet.
Han Rao raised an eyebrow at him, then shamelessly kicked off her sandals and put on cotton slippers. “Thanks, little brother.”
Han Ting rolled his eyes, “It’s rare to see such shameless people as you.”
A smile played on Han Rao’s lips as she subtly chuckled. She felt fortunate that Han Ting was on vacation these past two days and could help her pack; otherwise, with just her and Vivi, it would have been quite a struggle.
Han Rao picked up the phone that had been thrown on the cabinet and conveniently transferred some money to Han Ting.
Han Ting’s phone vibrated. He took it out and saw that Han Rao had transferred a five-figure sum to him. He immediately pressed the “return” button and said earnestly, “You’ve rented a house, moved, bought furniture, and just bought gold bracelets for Grandma and Auntie. You must not have much money left. Don’t transfer money to me for no reason; I have money, enough for living expenses.”
Han Ting glanced at her, finding the scene a bit overly sentimental. He raised a hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead, then immediately lowered his head to work, placing the Doraemon piggy bank on the cabinet next to the sofa.
Han Rao was startled, feeling as if she had been suddenly enlightened. In fact, Han Ting was right; if Zhao Jichuan hadn’t paid for these furnishings, she would definitely be in the red now.
It seems I can’t be so extravagant in the future; I still need to save some money.
Han Rao pursed her lips and said nonchalantly, “Isn’t this a reward for your hard work?”
Han Ting waved his hand, “Don’t be so smug, keep it for yourself for now. Give it to me when you make a lot of money.”
Han Rao softly hummed in response. She suddenly felt very gratified; her younger brother had grown up and knew how to care for his older sister. He wasn’t like when he was little, a small child who would follow her around and cry and fuss for toys whenever they passed a supermarket.
Han Rao leaned over, sat on the ground, and tidied up with Han Ting.
The siblings worked all afternoon.
Seeing that it was getting dark, Han Rao wanted to order takeout, but Han Ting said he had an appointment with classmates for Haidilao that night and left immediately.
Han Rao didn’t keep him either, throwing him a key and telling him to come earlier tomorrow, estimating it would take another day to clean up.
Han Ting took the key and casually tossed it into his pocket. He squatted down and muttered, “Han the Skinflint,” then helped her tidy up for a while longer.
Han Raoying smiled, and when she saw that he was done, she got up to see him off. Then she sat cross-legged on the sofa, took out her phone again, and researched what to eat.
As a result, within a few minutes, someone knocked on the door.
Before Han Rao even pushed open the door, she said helplessly, “Why are you back again? Didn’t I give you…”
The next second, Han Rao’s expression froze, because standing outside the door was Zhao Jichuan.
He returned, travel-worn, as if carrying the scent of autumn wind, with a chilling sensation.
He was wearing a black satin shirt today, unbuttoned at the collar with the cuffs slightly rolled up, and carrying a suit jacket in his hand, looking casual and laid-back.
Han Rao stared at him, dumbfounded. She couldn’t quite articulate her feelings—was it surprise, shock, or disbelief?
Anyway, it must be extremely complicated.
Because by her reckoning, she and he hadn’t seen each other in a long time. The last time they met was just before filming wrapped, when she was a guest on a variety show recording. After the recording, she took the opportunity to come find him.
And this time, he also didn’t tell her today
He would come back, but he didn’t say he would come to see her after he came back.
Zhao Jichuan watched her long eyelashes tremble slightly, her mouth slightly closed, and an expression of disbelief on her face, finally breaking into a smile.
He said, “Are you stupid?”
His voice was low and magnetic, making Han Rao’s heart itch.
She turned sideways to let him in, and casually asked, “Why are you back? You didn’t even say anything beforehand.”
As soon as she finished speaking, she heard the door close with a muffled thud, like the long-suppressed emotions within her.
Han Rao looked up again, and the man’s handsome face had already lowered. He casually placed his suit jacket on the shoe cabinet, and his other hand clasped her slender waist, kissing her by surprise.
His lips were slightly cool, as if still carrying the outdoor temperature, gently brushing against hers.
Han Rao felt that she had actually been missing him these past few days—missing him as a person, missing his burning body, missing his passionate and forceful kisses, and even missing his rough yet tender movements during lovemaking.
But when he really appeared in front of her, his somewhat disordered breathing brushed her face, and she didn’t know how to react. She could only stare blankly, her eyes wide open, his reflection in her pupils, letting him kiss her.
Zhao Jichuan raised his hand to cover her eyes, and said in a low, teasing voice, “We haven’t seen each other for only a few days, and you’ve already forgotten how to kiss?”
Han Rao’s ears immediately turned red. Wasn’t he looking down on her abilities by saying that? She wasn’t a minor, nor was she a woman who hadn’t experienced much of the world, so how could she still not know how to kiss?
Not only can she kiss, she can also force a kiss!
Han Rao raised her hand and hooked his neck, then stood on tiptoe, closing her eyes, intending to kiss him forcefully. However, the man turned his head away, gently rubbing her earlobe with his fingertips; it was very hot.
Han Rao lunged at nothing, opening her eyes to look at him. He had a playful expression, clearly teasing her.
Extremely childish.
Han Rao let out a soft “hmph,” thinking that if he didn’t kiss her, then so be it; she wasn’t that keen anyway. She withdrew her hand, preparing to move away from him, but then the man grabbed her wrist and pulled her back again.
He cornered her against the full-length mirror in the entryway, pressing close. Their intertwined figures were reflected in the gleaming, polished glass.
The man looked seductive, gently pinching her chin. “Baby, open your mouth.”
Han Rao thought to herself, haven’t all vixens throughout history been women? How did she run into a man? She looked up at his handsome face and thought, if he has no money and no ability, he could always go into the escort business. At that time, she would definitely work hard to earn money and spend a fortune to hire him.
Although Han Rao was mentally criticizing him, her body was exceptionally honest. Following his words, she slightly parted her lips, revealing a glimpse of the tongue hidden within.
She wasn’t wearing any makeup today, just clear lip balm, but her natural lip color was already beautiful, not too deep, like a peach blossom, radiantly blooming.
Zhao Jichuan’s eyes deepened. He pinched her cheek and continued to coax her in a low voice, “Stick out the tip of your tongue.”
Han Rao didn’t know why, but her breathing also became erratic. A kiss was just a kiss, so why did he prolong and slow down the process, making her feel electrified and lightheaded? It was as if she truly were a woman who knew nothing, needing him to teach her how to kiss.
Although full of questions, Han Rao found this feeling exceptionally new and exciting.
So he gently extended the tip of his tongue.
Zhao Jichuan saw this, leaned in, and pressed close to her, his lips encompassing her tongue tip, biting lightly, completely drawing her in.
He truly felt despicable. When it came to matters of love and intimacy, he always wanted to give her fresh, indelible, and unique memories.
I guess no one would have thought that Zhao Jichuan, the eldest son of the Zhao family, who is so decisive and well-dressed in business, would be so perverted and despicable in private.
But all his actions were directed solely at Han Rao.
Zhao Jichuan had thought before that if one day someone got hold of his dark secrets and wanted to expose his dirty laundry, completely revealing his despicable and malicious side to the public, that person could only be Han Rao.
Because he never acted this way towards others. He was only greedy for Han Rao, so greedy that he wanted her to tolerate all of him, especially his dark side. This was his true self.
Han Rao was dazed by the kiss, only feeling her tongue root ache and swell, her entire mouth no longer her own.
She clutched his shirt, signaling him to release her.
Zhao Jichuan received the signal and slowly let go of her.
Under the warm yellow light, she saw only his lips glistening, even drawing out a silver thread, utterly intimate.
Han Rao blinked, suddenly feeling a little flustered. She felt that she hadn’t lived as long as he had, and her flirting skills paled in comparison to his.
Zhao Jichuan found it amusing to see her in a daze. He leaned close to her ear, biting her earlobe as he asked, “Have you learned?”
Han Rao swallowed, raising an eyebrow as she said, “Now it’s your turn. Open your mouth.”
Zhao Jichuan leaned down again, sealing her lips once more. “Raorao, how can a disciple tease their master?”
The intense, passionate kiss returned, and Han Rao only felt a roaring in her ears as he carried her to the sofa and pressed her beneath him.
This time she had a larger sofa, no longer the single-seater that could only fit one person. Zhao Jichuan could completely pin her down on it.
The man then reached to pull at her top. She was wearing a white knit sweater today, and with a gentle tug, it was about to come off.
Han Rao braced her hands against his chest and said somewhat anxiously, “There are no condoms at home, I didn’t buy any.” She hadn’t had time to buy them yet.
The man seemed to have anticipated her words, pulling two thin, silver objects from his pocket and pressing them into her hand.
Han Rao clenched her fists. She truly felt this man was becoming more and more of a jerk. Buying condoms used to be her responsibility because she wouldn’t allow herself to get pregnant. Without them, she would never do it, even if it killed her.
But he knew her character too well, even guessing that she wouldn’t remember to buy these things when she moved, so he prepared them himself.
Truly terrifying.
Being understood too well by someone is truly terrifying.
However, this thought quickly flitted through Han Rao’s mind, because the next second, her attention was drawn back to her lips.
He kissed her fiercely, as if he missed her terribly.
Han Rao was also aroused beyond measure, embracing the man’s waist and reaching up to unbuckle his belt. With a “snap,” before she could go any further, her actions were suddenly interrupted by a knock at the door.
Zhao Jichuan lowered his eyes to look at her, seemingly reacting to the sudden change. His hair was a bit disheveled, even appearing somewhat disheveled under the light.
Han Rao wasn’t doing much better, a thin layer of sweat beading on her nose, her face clearly showing her displeasure at being interrupted.
“Knock, knock, knock!”
The knocking sounded again, “Sis, open the door!”
Han Rao froze in place. The next second, she reacted, immediately pushing Zhao Jichuan with her hand, and had to restrain herself to lower her voice and say, “My brother.”
Zhao Jichuan was suddenly interrupted, left hanging in an awkward position, and his face didn’t look too good.
He didn’t speak, seemingly calming down, and after two seconds said, “Ignore him.”
Han Rao shook her head. What kind of terrible idea was that? If she didn’t open the door, Han Ting would probably think something had happened to her, and he might even break down the door or call the police.
Barging in?
Han Rao was startled, her face instantly paling. She suddenly remembered something and immediately kicked Zhao Jichuan away, saying in a flustered manner, “He has the key.”
